Redlands Village Acres Ditch Company

From Redlands Water and Power, our irrigation water supplier:

NOTICE TO ALL SHAREHOLDERS

As you all know we are in extreme water drought. This is beyond our control, and we are doing the best we can do with what water we have. At this time, we are asking our Shareholders to VOLUNTARILY CONSERVE ALL USAGE OF WATER.

As the weather gets hotter, we are almost certain there will be less to no water. We would like everyone to get some water, rather than none. RWP is asking that you be courteous of your neighbors and all Shareholders. Water your grass once/twice weekly and between the hours of 9 pm to 8 am.

RWP will be taking the following actions to help conserve water so that all Shareholders get some water:

  • RWP is asking Homeowners Associations to help by asking your homeowners to water on an odd/even rotation schedule between the hours of 9 pm to 8 am to help conserve water.
  • If all else fails RWP will have no choice but to lower the levels of water in all canals.
  • RWP will be pinching all headgates.

If RWP does not see voluntary complying with our requests, we will be forced to step in and take appropriate action. Keep in mind that there are currently no water restrictions in place and that it’s not a matter of whether they will be put in place but rather when they will be put in place.

Please continue to check our website for all updates. Thank you for all your patience and understanding as we work through this together.
